Loblaw Companies Limited Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

fair and support of team

they tend to leave me alone and let me run my department and crew as I see fit.

I haven't met my team leaders yet but I am told they are nice

They are understanding about issues at work. They are willing to find better ways of doing the same job as needed

Teamwork expirence is very good

team is positive and helpful

Review from Operations Dept

They all are very friendly with the employees

They all are so helpful

They listen to concerns and try to address worker issues.

Overall, how they let people do their own thing at their own pace. Leaders are not too commanding, and they do not inform you about what tasks you prioritize during shifts (i.e what pallet to work on first).

They are there everyday and seem to care about employees

I cannot say, for now!

Always have my back when needed

They work together to create change

They are very helpful knowledgeable and supportive

I like how much they show me where I might of messed up but also how to fix it and what could be done differently

I see a supportive, patient and active leadership there who help me to learn and do my responsibities.

ok its ok its a good job and the people its amazing

It work and i mostly get what i need when i need

My boss listens, develops and encourages my strategic initiatives. Beyond that, the Senior Executive team is completely out of touch.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Work life balance. Employee respect. Listening to feedback. Change the culture.

Employee Satisfaction rate and providing hours to their employees

more support for middle managers

They need to understand what can be done in a single work shift , expectations are too high

Better Communication with all employees

how to manage a store and peopled skill

Communication, listening to workers and caring about employees

Designating set tasks and making sure everyone does it .

Thinking as team players, less micromanaging based on personal insecurities.

They need to recoginze and value their hard working employees and not treat them like robots.

Not making employees overly stressed

Management is in it for their bonuses. You're a number around here and nothing more, they can find another chum on the street to replace you immediately.

Get rid of lying vindictive managers who get joy ruining people's lives.

Review from Operations Dept

Talk politely with other collogues. Have some respect for others

Understanding work efforts and requirements, and not chasing after minor details that aren't relevant

Managing their expectations, appreciating the employee, basic decency and at least PRETENDING they don’t care more about money than literally ANYTHING else. The executives are fat cats with no in store work experien

Doing there job the way a leadership team should

The Leadership needs to take into account that people are not perfect. We cannot preform at the same expected rate as others, every single day. We're not machines, we're living beings. We have bad days, injuries, or mental illnesses. Respect the individual worker.
