We are lifestyle and wellness experts. Our core business is home furnishings, but we’ve grown into six key categories (consumer products, services, technology, retail, logistics, and venture) through a suite of nationally recognized brands and powerful partnerships. Since 2019, we have proudly been a Certified B Corporation®. We meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. As a company, we’re concerned not only with revenue, but also with our corporate social responsibility for society, workers, the community, and the environment. We’ve got a triple bottom line: planet, people, profits. Every day, we focus on making accessible items that excite consumers—and making a difference.
Malouf Companies was founded in 2003 and its current CEO is Sam Malouf. Since its inception 23 years ago, Malouf Companies has grown to 900 employees.
Our mission is clear: Redefine business. Welcome to our corporate evolution—fueled by values and strengthened by people.
Malouf is a Certified B Corporation®. This means that as a company, we’re concerned not only with revenue, but also with our corporate social responsibility for society, workers, the community, and the environment. We’ve got a triple bottom line: planet, people, profits.
Sustainable business is incredibly important to us, and we are committed in our daily operations. Currently, our Logan headquarters are powered by rooftop solar panels and utilize natural light, with a net zero impact. Our scratch kitchen grows food on the premises, composts food waste, and is moving toward a zero-waste footprint. Our product lineup includes natural and sustainable options like Rayon from Bamboo, TENCEL™ lyocell fiber, and natural latex foams. We compress and roll a large portion of our products for a smaller shipping impact and negotiate returned product into donations rather than re-shipping to a distribution center. Plus, we consciously follow greenhouse gas travel reduction policies, like sharing rooms and limiting in-person meetings to when they are necessary.
But, there’s always room for improvement. We’ve formed an Environmental Sustainability Council made up of employees across departments to evaluate the effects we’re having on our planet. That includes analyzing our packaging for less plastic use, our facilities for ways we can conserve, and our manufacturing to build on our natural and sustainable raw material sourcing.
All our companies have a direct impact on selected charities or causes. Giving back has always been a part of who we are, and as our network of companies has grown, so have our charitable initiatives.
Our main philanthropic initiatives are accomplished through the Malouf Foundation™. Formalized as our charity arm in 2016, the Malouf Foundation™ is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to confronting child sexual exploitation, specifically sex trafficking and online abuse. The Foundation fulfills its mission by providing education, promoting healing, and ensuring justice for survivors. Supported by the network of Malouf Companies™, the Malouf Foundation™ gives 100 percent of its resources to the people it serves.
