What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to provide patients with the appointments or information that they need.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is amazing, and I attribute that to the supervision staff. Fun group, very positive attitude, very helpful, also very forgiving of mistakes.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The general attitude overall. We are allowed to joke around and have collegial fun. The nurses and doctors are (mostly) very kind-hearted and polite.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Very friendly environment. I enjoyed being given a tour of where I would be working and getting to meet a few of the potential co-workers.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My supervisor and assistant supervisor are amazing!! They are very forgiving of mistakes, and kindly coach you to improve, rather than castigate or scold. Plus, we always look for occasions to have food!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I had to take a $12 an hour pay cut. I took the job because it was for a reputable company, in hopes of getting a higher paying job after a year (required). The PTO system is the worst I've ever seen. I have never been told I have to use my own PTO to cover a federal holiday.
