Mr. Joseph A. Plomin, Jr. also known as Joe, is President of Aftermarket & Trailer and Quality at Meritor, Inc. (formerly ArvinMeritor, Inc) since January 18, 2018 and its Senior Vice President. Mr. Plomin was the President of International at Meritor, Inc. since January 2014. Mr. Plomin served as the President of International for Europe & Asia Pacific at Meritor, Inc. since January 2014 until October 3, 2016. Mr. Plomin served as Vice President of Europe and Australia at Meritor, Inc since January 2013. He served as Vice President of Global Brakes and Commercial Truck at Meritor, Inc. since June 01, 2012 until July 2013. Mr. Plomin served as Vice President of Truck Americas at Meritor, Inc., and served as its Vice President of Truck Unit - Commercial Vehicle Systems Business Group since September 12, 2007 until July 2011. In his new role, Mr. Plomin is responsible for the overall development of product marketing and strategic planning, program management, sales and service, pricing, delivery and customer relations for the Truck unit - which encompasses axle, brake and driveline sales to global truck manufacturers at ArvinMeritor. He served as Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Product Line Management for Remy International in Anderson, Ind., and also as its General manager Heavy Duty and Industrial Businesses. Mr. Plomin has more than 20 years of experience in heavy duty and automotive component development, marketing and sales. He has been a Non-Independent & Non-Executive Director of Automotive Axles Ltd. since November 25, 2013. He holds a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Economics from Knox College in Galesburg, III., U.S.
