Murphy USA Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

That I was hired over the phone and the crackheads at night were no concern

Not taking too long ,and kepted it simple

How comfortable the manager made me feel and personible she was.

It was short sweet and to them pint. The onboarding tok forever and it's been hard to recover but I will get there.

Met a lit if different people

Very personal and face to face with both the store manager and the district manager!

Very easy to talk to and understanding

Was told great things! As long as i worked hard n stayed dedicated i was going to do big things. But that all changed.

Review from Sales Dept

It was quick and concise

The manager is very respectful let you know what they would she like and what she don't like if you have a problem you can come to her and she will help you the best she could

The smile on my mangers face. She was awesome.

Assistant manager was nice. GM is inexperienced

Review from Customer Support Dept

Location where we went to talk

Very fast and streamlined .

Review from Sales Dept

It was direct and short the question were i believe fair.

Nor anything really. They never trained me all the way. There's things that I still don't know

That I got to meet with the manager one on one, and it was an overall very positive experience he informed me of everything and what my job duties would be, and it all went very smoothly

The manager that interveiwed me was nice n listened. She was straight forward.

It was very laid back and it made me feel comfortable not nervous

Fast but effective interview process

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

LEARN TO HELP NEW EMPLOYEES

It takes too long and wastes time

Ask more important questions.Do make it easy. Do a better indebted on the interview. What can they bring to the company

Nothing at all. I've been with other companies and I'm thinking about going back to them

Review from Sales Dept

Have a formal interview process and allow other members of management interview the candidates.

They hire whoever they can get because they only pay $10.50 an hour

Make it more professional. The store manager should not negatively talk untruths about past employees

Not rush the interview just because your desperate to get employees take your time ask questions make sure this kind of work is for them

On boarding and back ground checks take so long to go thru that by the time they do, the applicant has secured another job somewhere else

I didn't receive an interview, I was simply hired on the day after applying. Having an actual process would be ideal.

No actually I don't think I will

Get a better manager that won't hire just anyone

Ask more questions learn about your employees

Need to have more experience in the ones doing interviews.

Get Managers that know what they're doing & you'll see the revolving doors of employees come to a halt

Review from Customer Success Dept

Don't get interviewed with no one.

Get more information about what you are supost to do

Review from Customer Success Dept

Need to have better ways to do the interviews not just in the little space that is in the stores

Review from Sales Dept

Paper applications or better computer system
