  • Mostly fine except for the sledgehammer move to Scaled Agile and a ridiculous amount of wasted time in meetings discussing the same thing over and over.

  • NetApp via the Solidfire acquisition. Feedback is ignored, or they give the excuse that everyone is having the same issue, or the product is not "mature" enough to start thinking about that.

  • Simply put, most are a lot younger than me! They are very smart but lack experience (or maybe are not jaded yet). They have a lot of great ideas but seem to only be able to execute to about 90%. They don't often take in the experiences of the "older and experienced" engineers.

  • Young culture. Set your hours as well as what work you do as long as it meets the common goal and deadlines. Lots of meetings, not a lot of processes but it is recognized that process is important for quality. Young management that often struggles to see the bigger picture that older and more experienced engineers see. Often stuck on misconceptions about how things work.
