I think at this time we are a little too numbers driven on the financials... in relation to growth...for my taste. It's causing us to sacrifice other things that we used to stand for.

I know I took a lower paying contract. I will build up to better pay.

I was making ~7% more with better benefits (medical and 401k) in my previous executive position on the customer side; took this slight step backwards with Nordic with the goal to move 2-steps ahead. need more Nordic experience under my belt but already feeling anxious to move up

It doesn't feel bureaucratic and, instead, feels like a matrix of smart people working together to accomplish a goal. The small gift for the summer of the picnic blanket and portable charger was unexpected but very meaningful in showing appreciation.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Everything is good except our direct management structure (boss and boss's boss - who happen to be best friends). It's a recipe for cancer. In this case, it's the worst possible combo.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I'm not paid fairly and I've sacrificed so much. I'm the original (longest term) person here and paid almost the least. I'm not seen as a valued team member for some reason. I've tried to change that by taking all feedback. Others are struggling with our direct management as well.
