Pay us more. Stop over discipline. Stop taking away good things. Seems like you guys just want to make our lives miserable.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
At being a leader instead of a boss. You get much more out of an employee when they actually feel like they have a good relationship with you.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Morale is awful where we are. People get fired everyday for little things. We are being overdisciplined. Getting major starts for things that used to be only a letter if caution.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
we are the lowest paid class 1 railroad, and for every raise we get something else ends up costing more. Pay your employees what they are worth. If you can’t live off of however many mullion you make a year then that’s your fault.
