What does the leadership team need to get better at?
What leadership? Absolutely no communication and the decision making processes fall short when suggestions are made. They only care about trying to catch someone doing something wrong.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Considering the work hours and scheduled days off... more vacation time to spend with family would be great. Considering the environment we work in... the hours and days off are understandable. However; the slogans or propaganda about family matters or I am coming home fall short with vacation time.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Supervisor positions should be hired only from within. A college degree without Railroad experience is one of the dumbest things I have seen over the years. If you want people to move into management from the ranks then treat them better and more fairly. No one wants to worry about losing a job ever
