Better scheduling, and more experienced supervisors, who are taught to lead, not drag down their workforce. Bosses who interact with employees, in a positive manner.
Leadership is vital, and is an earned title. Being a boss does not mean you are a leader. NS hires bosses, not leaders. Many are young with no life experience, or leadership experience, and really don't know any better.
Very negative work environment. Huge separation between workers and management. Truly a "big business" type of environment. Many members of management are clueless about how to lead employees, they are only taught how to supervise by punishing employees, which is a huge hindrance to the company.
Very uncomfortable to know that your management is literally watching you as they hide in the dark. Most have never done the job, but had a training class on how to do it. Feels like they dangle your job in front of you constantly. Very discouraging, and horrible for moral.
