Management needs to change the way they manage. Quit trying to fire people as there sole purpose and try to help things run more efficiently by working with the men.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
One of the lowest paid railroads. All they care about is shareholders. If they would treat the men more fairly and quit sending out teams just to try and fire the people that make them money.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Quit sending out every official you got to try to fire people. The train master are told they must go find negative check every month and hand out discipline. There is no need in this. Work together
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
If they would focus on working together for a common goal in making trains move more efficiently and stop trying to fire everyone they possibly can. There main goal right now is to try to fire people. They have no heart and do not care about anyone but their self.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Coworker all do a good job. We just spend all our time looking in the bushes waiting for our management to jump out and high five each other because you slipped up and broke a rule. They will not try to help and make it a learning experience they will just dismis you and they get rewarded
