Most time penelty and arbitrary claims in our contract declined automatically and not paid after successfull appeals. This costs some employees thousands of dollars a year in lost due wages.
Inconsistent management rule interpretation. Micromanagement of low level managers to the point they are impotent in decisions. Deferred maintenance is standard practice and massive infrastructure and equipment failure is eminent.
Making new rules should not be a path to promotion. Same with discipline against employees. This leads to distrust with employees. Lower management is only worried about their own shift and resume padding.
Management less hostile to workforce. We constantly worry more about who is watching us than what our job is. They preach safety but new rule interpretations make us more exposed to harm.
