
Managers should work to make their local employees feel their worth and should the opportunity of an employee making a mistake to teach rather than use the start program as a threat/weapon.
Conductors are not valued at NS and should be compensated equally for meals, detention time, and holiday/EP days. Additionally, conductors deserve some form of weekend differential like the engineers get and a similar bonus program to the engineers. Also the step rest should be reduced to 2 years.
