More time training. Railroad qualifies people before they are ready.

Managment doesn't care about the employes. Need to do a better job of taking care of them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Higher pay scale, and pay less for insurance. Went from paying nothing for insurance when I started and it covering everything to where we are today. The railroad makes record profits year after year.
