What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Stop hiding in weeds to fire us. Work together on problems that actually matter
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
More focus on the job by teamwork between all employees. Conductors, engineers, yardmasters, trainmasters and dispatchers.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Make our union stronger by enforcing our contract on claims. We must not let them get away with anything.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Stop trying to raise our health coverage payment while our stock is at record high. People at the top make tons of money while we pay more. Typical.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Hours obviously stink. Do not like to go to work thinking one slip up will cost me my job. Do not like how if we make a mistake we pay but if management makes a mistake it doesn't matter. Less oversight on small tasks so we can focus on what matters and not so much on the things that don't matter.
