What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Lots of times when you know someone you are already hired before the process you just need to show up

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Get more diverse and hold the problem people accountable for thier actions that will be very hard for a company like NS cause they have been this way so long

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The retirement plan is great and health insurance is very cheap compared to other companies but the stuff you go through makes it hard for a black man in this company

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Calling out the wrongs being done to the other workers instead of putting thier head down and acting like it's gonna go away the only way we attack this problem is sticking together but I understand how hard that is

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

This company doesn't practice diversity at all there have been many instances of discrimination but a large powerful company is hard to prove this without them firing you and destroying your credibility when I first was hired in the 2000s there was Noose hanging in thier old carpenter shop

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

An outside company needs to do a independent investigation to the conduct of those in power positions then you can get to the bottom or a worker needs to take notes of all issues that they see and have documentation to prove facts cause the company will pay to get themselves out of trouble
