O'Reilly Auto Parts Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Parts discounts. Incentive pay based off sales. Plus fast track training hours we are paid for.

pay rate is good for work expected.

Keep my family happy and always be recognized for my efforts which some months could be better than others but I always push higher and treat every customer like family not just any stranger

Review from Sales Dept

Having health insurance that is good. And the 401K

Not able to really get the most from benefits yet have to be there a year before you get the really discount

Bonus we get monthly helps

I'm not fully sure yet

paid time off and commission rate

Stock discount, parts discounts, insurance benefits are decent

Price is good and benefits are reasonable

Commission is always great gives you an incentive to sale

Stock commission advancement Family enivorment

Review from Sales Dept

The 401k is good. Life insurance is good

I don't use the benefits package per se but what does stand out for me is the sizable discount on auto parts accessories and supplies which is significant if you use it and also the Fidelity life insurance at no cost to employees is also a nice perk.

How much oreilly value their employees

Review from Sales Dept

Employees discount helps out alot

Its nice and they care about there emplyess

It works really really well

I get to interact with great customers and get a copensation for sales

Review from Sales Dept

Everything is good for employees

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Better medical insurance. Plain and simple, have never paid as much to be paying so much more additional funds even after the deductibles

Pays less than other retail in the area, always short on people due to high turnover

At my current store 100%

Zero backing if the customer returns a part for being wrong when they gave wrong information.

Review from Sales Dept

I'm a store manager and I feel for the work I'm doing and how I turned my store around I should be receiving a base pay of 50k or more

No respect and no communication from managers. I'm at least underpaid by $3-4 per hour. I do more as a delivery specialist than several of other employees that have not done their job.

My managenment team is the worst kind of like a mafia

More respect for what I do for them

15 per hour for very experienced partsman

I do the work of three people every night , i work the over night replens shift and end up doing so much work it is hard for me to even get out of bed the following days.

Lack of experience at the company. Getting paid! Thank you

I have been working for O'Reilly's for five years and my managers and DM tell me how much of a asset to the company and after five years the best they could do was a 30 cent an hour raise in my pay, l was shocked, and if O'Reilly's can only give me 30 cents more a hour, they can keep it. Unacceptabl

Reinstate employee discounts especially when we cant get pay raises. I'm limited to the hours I can work due to being a disabled Law Enforcement officer. I lost my disability due to working to cover for employees that used covid for excuss to get free money from the company.

doing work of merchandiser and told thats not productive so no pay increase. only sales are productivity

Review from Sales Dept

More pay and benefits, and Better discounts

I have 30+ years as a auto mechanic and a computer it guys was hired to sell parts and was hired in at more than me and also was guven his raise before me and i work there 3 months longer

Review from Sales Dept

Fairly wage for what you have to do there

Up our wages it's kind of embarrassing that we make less than a fry cook

The fact I've worked for the company about 3 years and I close the store every weekend while new employees get mon-fr 8-5 while I get shit 12 or 5pm- 9pm and have more responsibilities than others.

I left a part-time job to come here and every pay period my paycheck has gone down to the point where I can't afford benefits. I now make in five days what I made part-time in three days.
