Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay equity with comparable roles is contingent on stock options. However, I knew this when I accepted the job so it is a calculated risk.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are open and communicative, and most importantly they model the good behavior in terms of time off and work/life balance they want to see from employees.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay at market rate for the same job title. However a large portion of comp is in potential stock and has large upside but that is still speculative.
