I've enjoyed my experience with Public Storage, however, over the years the compensation has diminished as well as incentives. My particular regional/divisional leadership plays favorites with promotional opportunity rather than developing the DM's that have performed well year after year.

Our coaching model. We always start with the positive, at every level. I really appreciate that.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I appreciate the even temperament, the willingness to always help and the positiveness they show when interacting with my team.
What makes you most happy at work?
My team, I enjoy interacting with them. I also feel very confident in my position, so I enjoy that I can get the job done well.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is very loyal and appreciative of their jobs. Especially the ones that have an apartment. They are very thankful and give 100% of their efforts.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I didn't receive an increase for 2 years, because I was maxed and new hires were hired in at almost the same pay I was making. For my years of experience and contributions, there should be more disparity between the salaries. Also, the bonus should be higher.
