I am an SP (service partner) and i run out food and drinks and check on the cutomers. The managers are atrocious. They dont care for the well being of their employees. I was asked to go under the restaurant today to check the pipes. That is not my job. Ive also been asked to fix other plumbing.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Its an interview. Looking for a job its pretty helpful to have one.
What makes you most happy at work?
Honestly going home at the end of the day. Im exhausted every day from doing everyone elses job and side work.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
A handful of my co workers are in the back talking with the managers even when there is a huge rush and it seems only me and the bartender seem to be doing our job. Hire better managers therefore better co workers are hired as well.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Doing their job. Managing the restaurant instead of going out to eat and just laughing and sitting in a booth at the back corner. Managing who gets cut first (unless you are working a double the first that arrives gets to go home first). Actually hiring people to fix problems with plumbing etc.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I technically do everyone elses job and my co workers are denied extra hours because the managers schedule me for extra hours that I never signed up for. I am currently only getting paid $9 + tips but if I'm going to be managing the restaurant it makes sense that I get paid more.
