I work at one of the busiest locations in my region of my state. Corporate keeps the managements' hands tied and doesn't allow them to pay us what we're really worth, everyone's stuck at minimum wage aside from the cooks. Not management's fault. Servers make plenty, but others do the work for them.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The majority of them are honest folk, just trying to make something out of the nothing that corporate gives them. The store wouldn't be making so much money if they weren't doing everything right.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't want to *feel better* about my current compensation, I just want better wages for everyone. For all the money we pull in, we deserve a better cut. The top decision-makers and their shareholders line their pockets enough already.
