overall my experience has been positive but that is because I am on a great team with a manager that understands how to use my skill appropriately.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The continued striving towards better.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
medical insurance, even though I still can't afford to actually use it due to the deductibles being so high, but its there in case of something tragic occurring.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
There are still a lot of silos within the company due to growth by merger which leads to a lot of similar work being done by multiple teams. Better communication of initiatives happening would help to reduce duplicate efforts.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is a rare gem, in that we all balance, support each other, and have the capabilities of working independently yet can transition easily to group efforts when needed. I consider my team to also be my friends which is unique in my experience.
