I love being part of this company and the valuable role we play in the world economy. I also love the team with whom I work - but I feel pressured to get to goals that aren't realistic and I regularly work about 3 hours each evening at home because of the multiple roles I fulfill. I do fear burnout.
What makes you most happy at work?
Empowering my team to do their jobs with as little friction as possible.
What are some of the best things about your team?
While we are not "diverse" (only two females on my product team) we are global. I do work with some very knowledgeable people as well who have a very deep knowledge of our business domain.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our business org is lead by individuals that: 1. Truly care about the well-being of the team. 2. Understand what our role is toward company success. 3. Have a plan to make our team contribute to RMS's success.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Candor. Karen is excellent at speaking the truth to us about the good and the bad. I'm particularly interested in the areas that she sees a need for improvement as that makes our goals clear. I'm also pleased to hear about our successes that our driving our company forward.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
While I do feel that I'm compensated fairly for my role, I am disappointed that the 401k matching is a progressive process. I think the best part of my compensation is the annual bonus. However I do wish that we could pay spot bonuses to high impact single contributors.
