We communicate with a broad audience and most of the time end up going above and beyond the role and responsibilities to the job function. This takes time and effort that requires motivation and compensation that matches the efforts
The team provides good insight into XCOM and leadership meetings through InsideRMS and other forums, as well as broad communication. They can also be available for meetings that need to occur as needed to get through tough decisions and planning
