After working for this company for more than 10 years and was until recently a master technician, I really used to think this was a decent company to work for. I was demoted and my pay drastically cut, because I didn't sell enough wiper blades. Not because of my quality of work, or customer surveys.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
1 positive thing I can say is that the company is always hiring and training technicians.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
This company should value quality and productivity over salesmanship for its front line technicians. Wiper sales should be a bonus, not a metric that can cost you you title and years of earned pay raises.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My direct team is an excellent group. Always willing to help each other, if the company hadn't once again increased the number of units per day for mobile and in shop appointments. No time to help out if something happens.
