Pay is a major issue. Our department was paid approximately 60% of the median income for similar roles in the market. Nonetheless, the work environment and safelite spirit is tangible and makes work very enjoyable. It can be frustrating to have such a bittersweet experience.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is genuine desire for growth. The leadership team seeks to interact with its employees in an engaging way.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Direct leadership demonstrates a plethora of compassion and commitment to their team. The executive leadership team can be somewhat deaf to the concerns of its employees, particularly in regards to pay.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
People Direct performed a review in the department and established that we were underpaid... over a year ago. The expectations set on the analysts are not in line with the compensation.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The culture safelite promotes resounds within almost all of its employees. If theres one thing safelite gets right, it's the work life balance and enjoyment of being a part of their company culture.
