Middle road. It was great when I started; loved my job, was making good money, and was allowed to focus on my work. Can’t do that now. Now I’m expected to be a full time salesman, an office clerk, a warehouse worker, and all on top of doing the job I was hired for; without a pay increase
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people you work with at the store level and you average customers. They make the bone aching pace that can be demanded of techs less painful.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I assume this question is referring to my manager and direct leadership. Manager is 10/10, former technician, he knows the struggle and tries to make it better. The rest literally don’t care, they are puppets of the higher leadership;
What are some of the best things about your team?
You work so closely with fellow techs that you find ways to like them whether want to or not. Almost all of my team are top notch guys who will stop what they are doing to lend a hand if you need it.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The “interview” is more to gauge what kind of person you are as opposed to whether you’re qualified or not. You’ll be asked some general questions but if your a decent people person you’ll be hired and sent to a very inconvenient training class to learn the jo
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
300 characters is not enough, and that’s not drama: it is fact. The company needs to slow down and stop trying to conquer the industry with new accessories and killing techs by adding extra unnecessary steps to an already lengthy process, then giving 6 jobs on the road or trip
