Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I work in a unique environment small town and a big state the only store for good hundred miles. In any direction. The labor pool is small. I don't think the store has ever been fully staffed. . And some of the management does not have a clue what needs to be done to make a profit in the st9re

They have no full-time hours available for you, but they will work you full-time hours without you paying attention to it when you go to them about scheduling, they will give you the worst possible options as far as schedule go. You have to do too much to get so little.

Being paid more too much work for such little pay

Always. Its really unfortunate because there are so many talented people who work with me.

horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible

A multi-billion dollar company that gives its CEO a ~$5 million dollar BONUS but pays its employees less than a livable wage should not exist.

Over work and under pay

Well, we are paid a dollar less than McDonalds pays their employees. In general, the employees are in no way appreciated. I have asked twice in the year i have been there for a handrail on the stairs. There is only one on one set of stairs. I need to hold on to something on both sides!

I would like health insurance

Actually being paid a lot more than 15.70 and enough to actually afford the 200 dollars for benefits within the first month. Its so stupid. We do the work of 3 people and yet get paid peanuts. Sctually pay people a lot and they may want to stay.

Review from Product Dept

Better pay, better dental and vision, more paid holidays

I don't get enough hours to qualify for benefits

If they valued what they say they do? But they Do Not, they lie and don't really care about the customer

Review from Product Dept

I believe the expectations are unrealistic. The stores are constantly understaffed. The amount and quality of training are inadequate. Long time employees are not valued and getting rid of them seems to be a priority.

I need more! More training, more money, more hours. I can barely pay the bills, and the same is true for many of my coworkers. Treat us like human beings instead of expenses.

My manager doesnt care when i try to do things that are good , also wont let me work more hours in other departments or train in other departments

I yry to help my manager with getting eveything and everyone to work as a team but he has certain employees that he prefers

I honestly hate that store. If you're a cashier or a courtesy clerk, you get treated like garbage. Unless one of management likes you. Then you get a free pass to harass any of your coworkers & get away with it

better pay, respect fir a bealthey work/life balance and a stool to sit on at the registers, 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch, the option to work 4 ten hour shifts for 3 days off or do an 8 -10 hour shift split into 2 blocks with a 3-4 hour "extended lunch" =lower burnout+better employee discount

I think anyone who is working full time should be able to live off their work. By that metric most of us are undervalued. A living wage would help a lot.
