I enjoy the actual work itself and customers are great and i do have other coworkers not in my department who are great.

We only work good when we all get all our hours 30+ other than that no one happy work at my store
In the summer it gets busy enough that it's kind of like a party atmosphere because there is a long line and we're the only place everybody is pretty good natured about it
My starbucks co worker are the best ever
Its good work. Everyones easy to get along with and we all understand what work is to be done. So it's easy to coordinate where every one works and there's no one trying to sabotage you to get a better position.

The culture is positive, and everybody knows that hard work is how they are going to be successful and I'm all about that.
Everyone is welcoming and friendly
As employees we all help each other. If a dept. is short staffed we will help. Our regular customers are very nice. We get along, we laugh a lot and enjoy working with each other in spite of the store director.
I'm retired from another job, so I work part time at Safeway. Three days are fine for me, and it's in town, which is why I work here.

Management needs to learn to be more efficient in communication, critical thinking, less confrontational in behavior and empathy.
Managements bad attitude, and inability to address issues correctly, gossiping, laziness.

Everything at Safeway including lazy mangers and lying emoplees
Kroger cleaning house and replacing the current tyrants with their own. Sr mgt is beyond repair.
Clean start. Merger with Kroger and having them eliminate Sr Mgt will be the best thing ever. Kroger today is what Safeway used to be, before the acquisition.
Actually listen to employee feedback
Department manager dont have the training or attitude to handle a discussion with a team member without taking everything personally , I understand we dont have that many candidates for dep. Managers but some personal skills training can be helpful
Managment needs to change asap
Treat all fairly and the same not let certain employees get away with not doing their job promoting the right employees
EVERYTHING! Get rid of those managers who bully others! The management at the turlock location is HORRIBLE! They stress you out and wont work with your schedule!
Safeway needs to be run by people that don't exploit their workers
