not having new hires get screwed in terms of scheduling. I had to work what no one else wanted to work. Also when I pointed out the customer surveys are difficult to get they threatened to demote me to courtesy clerk three times. Don't treat ur new hires like crap. Also there was no training. I was

They should provide full-time employment for more employees.. Retaliatory incidents occur when employees called out sick, brought a doctor's note and gets their hours the following week cut to the minimum. This also happens if they ask employees to work extra and employee says no. OPPRESIVE

I work in a unique environment small town and a big state the only store for good hundred miles. In any direction. The labor pool is small. I don't think the store has ever been fully staffed. . And some of the management does not have a clue what needs to be done to make a profit in the st9re

They have no full-time hours available for you, but they will work you full-time hours without you paying attention to it when you go to them about scheduling, they will give you the worst possible options as far as schedule go. You have to do too much to get so little.

The coworkers at my store behave like children. They spend too much time on their phones or gossiping in order for them to even complete their day. They have to go outside and have at least 20 cigarette breaks.

Management needs to learn to be more efficient in communication, critical thinking, less confrontational in behavior and empathy.

Managements bad attitude, and inability to address issues correctly, gossiping, laziness.

Hiring people actually need hire people that want work. Actually have the same pay rate to every hired people

Verbage for the hiring memeber be it management better more indepth questions for possible hires not hiring like its covid

Don’t just pick the first resume off the stack and expect those people to be availab

Maybe not hyping up the store so much and tricking people into believeing its "good"

Stop promoting the Safeway lifers! There is a reason they spent 35+ years NOT in management they aren't capable of leading. Actually listen to your employees and customers. Often it feels like corporates never step foot in the store.

Customers see everything! For example, how employees are mistreated on a daily basis, pricing guarantee is out of control, loading more work on employees without proper raises

Everything. The pay sucks, overtime doesn't exist, people don't listen at all!
