For the first 2.5 years I felt as though this was a challenging but good company to work at. With the changes we are making towards going public or prepare the company for acquisition we're sacrificing employee and customer wellbeing. It feels as though we're selling a product which doesnt exist.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The Salary is fair and comparable to elsewhere.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Our company used to be very close and it felt like a group who were all doing something together, I can't say much positive about the environment now.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We are only focused on metrics. I think if I were to spend all of my time doing admin work instead of helping customers management would be more happy with my efforts.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Consistency with messaging and actions. We say we want to create an environment with 'focus fridays' and one which is employee first, but the work we are given and the overfocus on metrics prove otherwise.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

I used to be enthusiastic about my coworkers and often cited it as the best part of Salsify. It seems like with the amount we have grown old coworkers have been burnt out, and new ones do not have the passion/dedication.
