Pay is unfair. Wages are not competitive. If you work in a Spartan grocery store there is a high chance that people hired in AFTER you will make more than you. There is not a even pay between department’s. For a Fortune 500 company employees are not value

The same things need to be expected of everyone.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Pay needs to be raised. Management needs to help more (mostly store directors)
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Everything. Communication: Actually helping employees under them. Team work is stressed but not practiced.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Currently our gas station is starting higher than the actual grocery store. People are being hired in at higher rates than employees who have been there and have worked through an entire pandemic. There are places that start at more and we constantly lose employees because of that. That needs work.
