SpartanNash – After 30 + years I can honestly say that life at SpartanNash is absolutely miserable! Forced 7 days a week 5 of them 12 hours the other two 9 hours. I was recently told that over the last year we have a 4% retention level. To be honest this number could be a little high. Can't get anyone for 15.00ph | Comparably

Evenly compensated as we grow and prosper.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Offer potential employees off the street a higher wage.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We must become a premium paying company once again, especially with the starting pay.

Less convicted criminals, more quality workers looking for a career job, as apposed to another job on the way to their next job and so on.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

It has become clear that the leadership is so far removed for the day to day operations at the distribution level that they are not aware that we are in an emergency situation of being force 7 days a week 12 hour days. This situation has been going on for months with no end in sight.
