Executive Bio

Ms. Annette M. Jacobs has been the President for Pacific Northwest Region at Sprint Corporation since November 2015. Ms. Jacobs leads local efforts aimed at improving the customer experience, enhancing the LTE Plus network and increasing sales. She is responsible for sales strategy, network oversight, customer service, marketing communications and general operations supporting the full portfolio of Sprint products and services from enterprise to consumer in Washington State and Oregon. She served as Senior Vice President of Leap Wireless International Inc., and has been its Area President since February 2011. She served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Door to Door Storage, Inc. Ms. Jacobs served as Chief Executive Officer of Safeharbor Knowledge Solutions since 2004 and served as its President and served as its Chairman of the Board since 2005. She joined Sprint from Newport Board Group where she served as Managing Director of Northwest. She served as Executive Vice President of Consumer Markets of the consumer markets group of Qwest Communications International Inc., from 2001 to September 5, 2003 and Executive Vice President and President of Wireless Markets since 2001. She has over 25 years experience in the telecom and wireless industries. Ms. Jacobs' previous experience includes 13 years of operational assignments with Contel Cellular, GTE Wireless and Verizon Wireless. She served as President of Great Lakes Area at Verizon Wireless from 1999 to 2001. Her leadership was instrumental in merging the distribution, sales, operations and culture of the newly formed area. She began her career with AT&T where she held various sales and staff positions. Ms. Jacobs served as Chairman of the Board at SafeHarbor Technology Corporation since 2005 and served as its Director. She served as a Director of Alaska Communications Systems Group Inc. from July 24, 2006 to February 1, 2012 and its Lead Independent Director since March 19, 2007. She serves as a Director of Washington Software Alliance. She was recognized throughout her career for leadership. In 1998, she was named an influential woman leader in the industry by Wireless Week. She has also held various non-profit and industry board positions. She is a Co-Founder and served as a Co-Chair for Women Corporate Directors (WCD) - Seattle. She was a Board Director and President for the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Northwest. She has been recognized as a Women of Influence by the Puget Sound Business Journal and received a national Stevie Award for Women in Business. Ms. Jacobs holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, cum laude, from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida.
