Jerry Gallegos — President of West Area at Sprint

Mr. Jerry Gallegos has been the President of West Area at Sprint Corporation since April 2016. Mr. Gallegos has more than a decade of telecommunications marketing experience and an extensive background in product marketing, brand marketing and strategic business planning. He has more than 25 years of sales and wireless industry experience. Most recently, Mr. Gallegos served as Vice President of Field Sales for the West at Cox Communications. Before that, he served as Vice President of Residential Sales for the Southwest region and as Vice President of Residential Sales in Arizona. Before Cox Communications, Mr. Gallegos held a variety of leadership roles in sales and marketing at Alltel Wireless, Western Wireless, AT&T Broadband/Comcast, Verizon Wireless and General Mills Inc. Mr. Gallegos joined the telecommunications industry 12 years ago at Verizon Wireless, (formerly AirTouch Cellular), where he worked in various capacities ranging from marketing representative to Regional President serving Arizona, New Mexico, Las Vegas and El Paso. Most recently, Mr. Gallegos served as AT&T Broadband's Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the San Francisco Bay Area market. Mr. Gallegos oversaw Western Wireless Corporation's digital video, high-speed Internet, telephony and video consumer products. Mr. Gallegos graduated with a bachelor's degree from Regis University in Denver.
