Kevin Kunkel — President of Southern California Region at Sprint

Mr. Kevin Kunkel has been President of Southern California Region at Sprint Corporation since April 2016. Mr. Kunkel is responsible for sales strategy, network oversight, customer service, marketing communications and general operations supporting the full portfolio of Sprint products and services from enterprise to consumer across Southern California. He has more than 20 years of leadership experience, including his 17 years as vice president of sales at Sprint. In his tenure at Sprint, he has led organizations responsible for both the consumer and business sales sectors. Mr. Kunkel served as Vice President of Sprint Nextel's Western Region and was responsible for all sales, operations, and management of Sprint Nextel's industry leading share of business and public sector customers in the western half of the U.S. Mr. Kunkel held various executive positions for Sprint's business, consumer, and indirect organizations. Mr. Kunkel has led successful charitable fundraising campaigns for the March of Dimes, United Way and the Alzheimer Foundation. He has represented Sprint at an executive level with these organizations over the last several years in Southern California. He serves as a Director at Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC). Mr. Kunkel is a graduate of the University of Nebraska.
