Q&A With Subway Employees

Asked to all employees at Subway

  • Asking if someone wants ex meat your workers can ask all day long most the time the answer is NO. Because they know what they want when they order ,so each employee should sell 3 ex meat sandwich a day? Guess that 1 thing that's based on how many hours you get?

  • If I could make any changes #1 doing prep each day just not when you run out , go back to the older salt and black pepper things , having enough works for each day time shift and having 2 people on night In on weekends not just having 1person for day time and just 1 person for night it's too much work just in that 1 person only having guys close in women open on weekends , not to put frozen vegetables on sandwiches or old looking vegetables , not giving the most hours to just 1 work when you have other employees that need hours too , know how to do a schedule each week would be great too in having your workers on the same hours + time each week would be so much better unless your someone needs a for sure day off, order the truck stuff right too would help so your store doesn't run out of anything, not having so many sandwiches sauce to put on the sandwich most the time only some gets used , keep fresh cookies and bread is a great idea , we can ask the customer all day long for ex meat

  • The manager or owner handles it

  • Generally, the managers or the bosses around are supposed to manage problems and complaints but the manager I worked under made the employee deal with most of them.

Asked to the Sales Department at Subway

  • What does customer service mean to you?

  • Basic

  • They ask basic background info, why you want to work for the company, and your general information. However, they shouldn't be asking why you should be worthy enough for them, they should be giving you insight on what they do and why you should be there. Yes, they want to see if you qualify, but you need to know what it is that you're representing.
