Respect and appreciation of staff. Respect of staff concerns. Respect of work hours. Not taking advantage of salaried employees who are made to feel that they have to work 6 days a week or 12 hour days. Not minimizing the work we do or an entire departments concerns.
Compassion, which is ironic for a mental health facility. When an entire department has come to HR with the same concerns, this is a major problem! When requesting flex time after continously working 55+ hours per week, we are told no and that the workload is perfectly reasonable.
My other co-workers (excluding management) in my department are AMAZING and truly make an impact in clients lives to the point its inspiring...but lately I have watched an amazing team fall apart and get beyond burnt out while literally praying to keep their strength for their clients and coworkers!
