I enjoy the ONE SWCA. It allows me to work across states, regions and disciplines

SWCA practices what they preach and what they put on their website, which I feel is rare in the corporate world. I am proud to contribute to our mission, though it can be hard to feel that mission on a day-to-day basis. The remote, flexible work structure is the best. Employees care about what we do

Openness and willingness to listen and discuss things

they are invested in my growth, and they don't stress the hierarchy of the company.

The ESOP is directly reflective of the effort we put into our projects. Our accelerated vacation accrual is also exceptional.

I believe I make a decent salary

I love the remote work capability. Ability to go part-time and half-time without impacting benefits package. This is amazing!! The company meets individuals where they are.

I am glad I get to explain my response. I am new to SWCA, and took a pay cut to come here, but I have discovered that SWCA's pay is lower than average. That is fine right now because I am still learning. I want to see how the bonus situation pays out because it may bring me to my previous pay.

Our salaries (specifically for planners) are below comparable positions of our competitors. Health insurance is good, but doesn't cover as much compared to other plans.

The standard "merit" increases seem lower than then bare minimum. Many employees are told they are doing exceptional work and then get a 1-2% raise- that does not seem accurate for "exceptional" work.

I've been at the same title for 3 years with increasing amounts of responsibilities, yet I need to "prove" this to my executive leadership team. I'd feel better if my contributions were actually recognized by my directors and I did not have to advocate for myself.

It would help to be able to negotiate raises or slight increases in hourly wages per year (to compensate for cost of living) more often.

We're all working towards the same goal and the company invests a lot of time in leaders so that teams can communicate and work together effectively.

Willingness to listen and try new things

Generally, we are like-minded people. And each person is very intelligent and able to offer cool insights. Our teams cover such a diverse range of specialties, so it is awesome to learn from each other.

My coworkers in particular provide unnecessary criticism when they are stressed out.

A fully remote model poses may challenges to communication that I don't think SWCA has been able to fully overcome. It has created a lack of cohesiveness and comradery that leaves you feeling like its every man for himself instead of a group of people working together to accomplish a common goal.

Many of the co-workers i worked closely with in the psst have left SWCA. I don't feel the connevtion that i omce had

My team and my office are all similar in our interests, preferences, and personalities and we all get along well and work well together, and have fun doing it.

Everyone is friendly and helpful, and interactions are very genuine. SWCA also back up what they say. If they say they care about a person's mental health, the MEAN it.
