Very challenging and fast paced but the perks, benefits, and people who work here make it all worth it.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It is laid out plainly and fairly.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My Coworkers. Ive never been in an environment with so many people I love and respect.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Even the people I don't get along with are generally so incredibly talented at something I respect. that its easy to find common ground with everyone.
What makes you most happy at work?
Talking to people all day who have gone through the same musical rabbit holes I have. I used to know zero people to go to jazz jams with. I now know DOZENS.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Gear at Wholesale and meeting industry leaders. Once a month I get to meet one of my musical heroes. I've rubbed elbows with my idols and played music with a few of them because of this job.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Neighborhood leaders and coaches are my main leaders. I love how all of them are the top 10% of who has done my job. Love how everyone who tells me how to be better at my job has done my job.
What are some of the best things about your team?
You literally cannot swing a stick around without hitting someone who's a legitimate top tier musician. Music school kids, touring/recording veterans, techs, world leading authorities on music technology. I've worked and lived with grammy winners and people who made some of my favorite records.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We attract talented musicians from all over the world. I'm Jamming with people from France, Louisiana, Boston, Florida, and California on my day off tomorrow. This job brings the people I want to meet from all over the world to my home town.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being the musician/sales engineer I, myself, needed for younger musicians when I was their age. Sometimes I get to talk to the kid who wants to give up on music because their family doesn't want them to be obsessed with drumming. I can tell them to ignore that and someday you'll have your dream job
