What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listen to employees. If they did an anonymous survey, the results might surprise them. But I don't think they want to know what people really think.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
We are seeing annual reviews and pay adjustments. While many of my friends are seeing large increases in benefits, our have stayed virtually flat the past several years.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
managers are not invested in their employees growth because Sweetwater does not build managers to be leaders. they give management positions to people who are not meant to lead responsibly and effectively and it will often lead to poor employee moral.

Sweetwater as a whole is known to underpay their employees because the campus has so many amenities. Working for a huge company but not getting paid as much as someone would at nearly any other company doesn't feel good!

Even when we are heavily focused on profitability and how to spend efficiently, our organization continues to ramp up the number of employee benefits and trainings, including BetterUp coaching for managers which is expensive yet so helpful

The optimism that we can solve our own problems and do the right thing for the customer. I never hear reasons why we can't do a thing. Rather, it's how can we do a thing AND better serve our customers! OR, if not now, then when does doing a thing make sense?

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Listen to employees. There is one set of rules for managers and a different set for the rest of us. Senior managers are all conservative white men. There is no diversity, no representation, no encouragement or promotions for women or minorities.
