The only person I like in leadership is my store manager. I think leadership doesn't know what they're doing, and is about to bleed the company dry before it bankrupts. Stores frequently get in floor set or direction with incorrect product, and promotions that are too complicated.

I am a mere tea holder at a store in Ohio but I am expected to execute management duties daily and I receive very low pay in comparison to the assistant manager who brags about her pay rate openly and often!

Stop bully culture, gossip and finger pointing from the top down
The teams are fine. They are just beaten down and see the writing on the wall. No raises to be had, and if they ever do want to try to catch up and pay their employees what they should be making they are so woefully behind they could not do it. Replacing IT dept with contract labor.

A focus on customers instrad of simply profits
Talbots does not pay sales associates enough. They are not even slightly competitive with other retail. They will lose competent workers.
Petite plus has been removed from the physical store. She wants to try on in store before purchase. Lower the price points. $99 for tops is a bit much & makes alot of clients rethink their spending
HR needs to audit district and store managers frequently.
