Being clear about expectations. They use vague words but expect specific results without specifying them.

The immediate team is made up of passionate people who care about doing good work and building great product.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our benefits are sub-par and the company uses our size to justify it. Given the number of employees, I know for a fact that is inaccurate.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The software design portion of the interview. We're not concerned with a candidate knowing how to whiteboard an obscure/academic algorithm or data structure but rather practical system design.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team has set high level goals for the company but looks to the teams and individuals on how to best accomplish them. They allow teams to own their domains without micromanaging.
