The pay is very good. Related but not a direct benefit; our teams are also committed to a healthy work life balance which increases the value of my compensation. I don't need to give up my personal life to make a decent living.

when accepting an offer you are provided 3 tiers to choose from - having the option for more/less comp vs more/less stock is enticing to new employees. The benefits program is amazing along with the health spending account

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Benefits are less than other start ups I've previously worked at where employees have full benefits.
I don't feel undervalued! I think benefits could be better. Some examples: 401K match, better dental insurance, stock options.
Our benefits are sub-par and the company uses our size to justify it. Given the number of employees, I know for a fact that is inaccurate.

Very tight knit. Excellent at helping when needed.

Town halls! Company understands we are in a remote workforce which has cultural challenges - they attempt to bring people together (virtually) as much as possible, send out amazing gift baskets, monthly team get togethers etc

The interview process is very collaborative and tends to pull out the best from our candidates.
It was thorough, practical, and focused as much on personality and empathy as it did job-competency.
