The Home Depot Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Employee Stock Purchase Plan and profit sharing.

Healthcare available from day one.

Review from Sales Dept

the sick pay and vacation

Review from Customer Success Dept

The coveage is better and costs less than with my previous employer

My 401k that I contribute to

I appreciate getting a bonus two times a year for doing my job

Vision is great. Employee stock purchase plan is great. Pay is good.

Be able to invest for the past 18 years on my 401 k !

Review from Sales Dept

Success Share is ok for non-managers. ranges between 1.5-8%

Holiday pay, vacation, sick time, & bonuses! I don't know any company that gives that to part time employees. HD does!

Bonuses are great. It is the reward for the work put in.

affordable benefits plans with easy access online to providers

Very competitive salary package and benefits

Dental plan is extremely kmpressive and so is vision

Profit sharing and stock at a discount price

Review from HR Dept

Affordable, some even free for associates, well known and accepted in most offices

Insurance and benefits and time off when approved

They allow a choice of a basic free coverage or you can opt-in to a enhanced benefits and a nominal fee. The coverage is streamline and it's covered under Manulife.

Review from Sales Dept

not sure at this point

The 401K,and medical, everything, nice

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Better health insurance. Better dental insurance.

Pay on performance based commission structures.

Review from Sales Dept

No employee discount. Pay for each department you learn like lowes. HD uses your knowledge against you

Additional work load with compensation for leaders.

I feel undervalued because I am consistently asked to give up more of my life for the company and in return I get nothing except a worse work life balance. If I was getting a pay raise or more stock every year that actually meant something I might feel better about the situation.

The effort I give daily is worth way more than $15.

Walmart recently raised hourly workers compensation to $18 an hour and majority of HD employees make less than $17 an hour. HD Profits exceed Lowes by a significant margin yet 3*% is all we're worth?

Review from Customer Support Dept

Hard workers are treated the same as the worst employee innthe store.

Trained & loyalty should benefit rather than untrained newbies.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Pay in my state is horribe and a 3% raise when inflation was at 3.4% is a slap in the face

I constantly feel undervalued at my store

Because i am constantly harrased by my manager Monica

I do not like the pharmacy coverage and the copays are way too much. Especially for those who are choosing generic meds.

Review from Design Dept

Generally the people doing the hardest work - the average associate - get paid the least

A radical adjustment to policies to allow us to actually get raises, fix our equipment so we can efficiently do our jobs, and give us over time if scheduled for 6 day work weeks

I got cut to part time after heart surgery and now will get all the bills and cant pay them, thanks to my store manager Raquel Krause, thanks home Depot

Acknowledging those employees who work their butts off but dont get recognized or even given a homer for their job well done

Review from Operations Dept

The compensation for the work is on the low side comparible to other companies, a living wage is not too much to ask for. Our team generates alot of money the company could compensate better for that work.

Need more pay for everything we do

I am being payed less the fellow associate the have been in the company less time than i have.
