Communication and fairness. No one at the store communicates even to the bare minimum to function, and especially not outside of their department.

Amount of benefits offered is helpfull.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan and profit sharing.
All full time associates should be getting paid closer to what is considered a living wage for their geographical area. That is far from reality with HD pay scales

The customers are pretty much happy to get help. Listening and helping them figure out their project is fun. It is such a reward to see them smile and know they have found someone they can trust throughout their project.

We have grown away the interview process anyone can sign up online they just have to come in for a background check. By the time they get hired they quit or just dont show up
