Everyone is friendly on Yammer. The workflow varies from day to day, so you never know if it's going to be a dry day or a day where everything is coming in at once. I'm not paid hourly - read, fairly - and therefore my overall life outside of work suffers.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The tests are easy enough if you look at the style guide.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I wouldn't feel so beaten down at the end of a day spent transcribing if I was being paid fairly.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
It all comes down to the pay. If that was improved to a per-hour structure, I would gladly spend my entire day in front of my laptop transcribing.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to be better at recognizing just who is doing the work and compensating people per hour, not taking advantage of the gig economy and profiting heavily off those who are doing the work at the bottom.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am not paid hourly. While I knew this signing up, I've been with TMe for well over a year now. At some point when you've proven yourself, you should move to a per-hour structure. I produce high-quality work in a short turnaround time but I'm making way less than minimum wage per hour spent working
