Travelers Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

The leadership team is transparent and approachable, truly wants what is best for the company and its customers.

They engage with the woder Travelers employee community throughout the year with presentations and dedicated "fireside chats" that allow for some limited discussion

I like that they driv result but not at the expense of people generally.

They can be reached if needed.

Solving problems and serving people

Forward looking and focused on continued learning for all

Review from IT Dept

My personal leadership team is amazing

Leadership is always open to feedback and new ideas; always looking to improve and fight for what makes their employees happy at the end of the day

Very good and easy to talk to

Availability and openness. Regular meetings with status updates on the region as a whole.

Understanding and extremely flexible when it comes to family emergencies amd sick time

Human-no show or frills and always looks fir positives

As a new member they listen to my opinion and worked with me to make sure that there was a good balance between my work & personal life. They are extremely supportive in the areas that I like to work.

Very supportive and actually cares about me as a person.

Review from Customer Support Dept

They are proffesional and supportive.

They can be personable when they talk to the broader audience

Review from Product Dept

Very capable above average leaders that are limited due to the entire claims reporting heirarcy.

They are in growth mode

They really work hard to be transparent, approachable, and helpful

Thoughtful, Strategic, long term oriented

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Internal growth. Looking outside for younger cheaper employees than promoting within

Understanding the deak level roles. Not letting Product bully Claims with an over abundance of process roll outs. Listen to employee suggesstions as they do the job and quickly identify inefficiencies. Management needs to stop taking credit for others work.

Stop the paralysis of analysis merry-go-round and make actionable decisions. Stop treating meetings like social events instead of the outcome-driven meetings they should be.

Servant Leadership. Not managing by fear. Respectful communication. Eliminate micromanaging and favoritism. Learn that work from home is a reality and incorporate home and office into managing us. Stop promoting bullies. Mainly though, just be nice.

Stop giving excuses to those who bully because you feel sorry for them. They turn their whole team just like them. They have make many employees cry when they go home, cry in the bathroom and in conference rooms. Stop retaliating and gaslighting good employees.

Flexibility and hearing employees. You cannot celebrate the company's significant success while employees worked remotely during the pandemic, then order everyone back to the office for three days a week. That isn't an inclusive culture that takes everyone into consideration.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Micro tasks assigned due to a limited workforce

Safer work environment, free of discrimination against minority employees, equal employment practices, lack of retaliation.

Review from Operations Dept

Listening to the needs of the employees otherwise you will see an even larger exodus of employees than you are currently seeing from select and other commercial departments.

Review from Sales Dept

Understanding of subordinate challenges and responsibilities

Review from Customer Support Dept

Listening to all employees, from the bottom up
