U.S. Bank Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

During the 5 times I was promoted i never had a salary cut

The coverage and flexibility we get

The best part of my compensation package is both the PTO (more than 3 weeks) and our annual bonus. Although I feel I could be paid a higher salary, the benefits I am provided through the bank are second to none. They are reasonable priced and provide top tier services and care.

They have a good benefit package

The pension and 401k match is good. The pay and benefits are good with the exception of insurance. The cost is too high, the deductible is too high.

There is the opportunity for significant time off

There is a significant amount of time off available with years of service. There are also many holidays and an option to buy an additional unpaid week.

Review from IT Dept

Pension Plan. That is the top reason I ever looked at U.S.Bank

The pay is generous, the benefits are good.

Review from IT Dept

all the time we can take off

Review from Customer Support Dept

Very pleasant and fair to everybody.

Review from Operations Dept

401k and pension are both nice

Review from Sales Dept

Insurance Benefits and the pension

Fair compensation w a long list of benefits

They are very flexible with schedule

Our 401(k) is pretty well matched. As well as our Health Savings Account options too.

Benefits and bonus compensation. Pension plan in addition yo 401k

Only part time and no. Benefits

Quaterly incentives and annual bonus

its always so nice for me when I get mine each time

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Hire me as fte rather than contractor

They underpay ever single employee.

Review from Admin Dept

Better health care coverage and bonuses.

A more competitive salary for what I do.

very difficult to see pay ranges; see a lot of title inflation

In the time I’ve been here, I’ve been given fewer and fewer responsibilities. It’s disheartening. I was hired with a promise of promotion and it’s been the o

Pay me more and better package

I think the scoring system for our metrics can be improved its not fair to have questions that the customer does not answer be held against you. Follow policy's as they are written and give clear reasons why they are not being followed

The base pay for what i do should be 20k higher. Were really the only people who do it though so they can pay whatever they want.

They gloat about earnings but then say there isn’t enough to pay bonuses or give raises to employees.

Review from Business Development Dept

Higher base salary and bonus

Review from Product Dept

The pay is not worth the stress and micromanagement experienced from the job. Likewise, the medical coverage was garbage compared to most other jobs my friends and family have.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I have more experience than some seniors on my team

Review from Operations Dept

Benefits were to expensive for and employee

Review from Customer Support Dept

I get paid less than the employees I manage, mostly because I am younger and have less experience in the area of work. However, I bring a lot to the table.

Review from Finance Dept

Managers mainly focused on discipline and rarely showing recognition. We are made to pick up the slack from teams that have been let go. Everything is constantly changing or something new being added, but we still only get a measly raise at the beginning of the year.

Review from Operations Dept

We make 25% less in our position than other banks.

Review from Operations Dept

Could be higher, we do a lot of tasks thats definitely worth more than I'm being paid for

Review from Customer Support Dept

Lack of compassion and training. Very little desire for upper management to manage, which can be defeating.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Health Insurance is not the best coverage.
