My boss is always looking for ways to give me exposure to the executive functions of the bank. He makes sure to ask what my goals are an is very supportive in my endeavors. I feel that the management of U.S. Bank truly cares about their employees in both professional and personal manners.

The coverage and flexibility we get

The best part of my compensation package is both the PTO (more than 3 weeks) and our annual bonus. Although I feel I could be paid a higher salary, the benefits I am provided through the bank are second to none. They are reasonable priced and provide top tier services and care.

They have a good benefit package

The pension and 401k match is good. The pay and benefits are good with the exception of insurance. The cost is too high, the deductible is too high.

I’ve had 5 different positions all with in branch management within the company and have interviewed with close to 13 different people. It’s seems like an unorganized processes from the outside. From the inside it is. I see attempts to make it better, sometimes it works other times not so much.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

They have stopped caring about customers and their complaints. They rather us sit on meetings and make outbound calls than help the customers who are in front of us and need assistance.

Process for companies to be onboarded in procurement is lengthy and arduous. Needs significant streamlining which would necessitate a new database and cohesive internal efforts. Right now U.S. Bank has businesses fighting for control over their contracts - bank needs everyone to cooperate more.

There’s no opportunity to move around. They receive complaints about this and they do not make it a prio

US Bank has done little to help customers during COVID. I had to send a man to collections over $300.
