I like the mentor programs
Nothing. They out of touch snd do not appreciate or respect employees.
Excellent expertise and experience in their respective areas
POSITIVE, INSPIRING, GOOD LEADERSHIP, GIVING BACK
They are open to new idea
Leadership micromamages our calendars and demands we are in the office after taking away our offices and not allowing even a pen cup or photo of your children. Morale is at an all time low

Focus on their employees. "Service" is the focus for 2026, but their compensation increases are not even keeping with inflation. As a tenured employee with the bank, the prior executives were more motivating. I don't know anyone here who feels motivated to provide good service.

Communication and consistency in management
Vision is generic and lacks differenciation. All hands call are positive despite budget cuts, therefore undermining credibility.

Clean out the entire place and start over.

Employer match and pension benefit
During the 5 times I was promoted i never had a salary cut
The coverage and flexibility we get
The best part of my compensation package is both the PTO (more than 3 weeks) and our annual bonus. Although I feel I could be paid a higher salary, the benefits I am provided through the bank are second to none. They are reasonable priced and provide top tier services and care.
They have a good benefit package
No stock or bonus for majority of employees

US Bank pays below market rate. They are laying people off and rehiring the same jobs at a far lower salary

Accounting for inflation, I make the same that I did 5 years ago. US Bank's policy is that it does not account for COL when considering compensation. It's supposedly all "merit based". Which is convenient, because their fees continue to increase, and their revenue continues to increase.

Hire me as fte rather than contractor
They underpay ever single employee.

The bank hires nice people. Most of us are naive and they take advantage of our kind natures

The people are the best
Hard working and go out of their way to help.
Very helpful, flexible, sharing and caring
Great team, everyone does their own work and no micromanaging. Deadlines and work/life balance are reasonable.
The team was put in a closing branch. It was a very difficult to get a long we were all competing for the only 2 positions offered at the time.

Let everyone have their voice heard

I get paid to do my job. I can generally pay my bills on time, and I'm not homeless. But otherwise, the company considers their employees to be cogs in a wheel.

Work life balance. I have never had a call after 6pm

Diversity input from each member of the team is valued
Review from Executive Dept
Everyone is welcome and everyone is willing to help someone else.
People feel comfortable in an environment where most are confident in their abilities and truthful about what they don't know. It's an open and trusting environmental.
Get rid of the dinosaurs instead of promoting them.

Start valuing your employees and put forth effort towards employee retention. Also give your employees a true chance to move around to different opportunities.

Include new employees as they appear to be left out.

Better staffing, and recognize hard work

Easy - had 3 interviews and an offer a few days later. But now I know they are desperate to fill positions and it was not a compliment

I have been in this position for a while, and haven't had to interview in a number of years.

It was very thoughtful and good questions
engineers implementing work are involved.
Friendly atmosphere. Intelligent interrogation. Wide ranging questions.
Be honest about the work you demand and the hours.
They say they want employees to explore other opportunities within the bank but that’s a lie. It’s hard to move around. It can literally take 2 years to find another job within

Having a more enthusiastic less entitled interviewing manager. I’m interviewing you as well.

Find a way to get a true picture of the candidates work ethic and drive
Review from Operations Dept
I’ve had 5 different positions all with in branch management within the company and have interviewed with close to 13 different people. It’s seems like an unorganized processes from the outside. From the inside it is. I see attempts to make it better, sometimes it works other times not so much.
Review from Sales Dept
I get paid and mostly no one bothers me much.

SPEAKING TO THE CUSTOMER, HOPEFULLY GETTING TO KNOW MY TEAM..
Interacting with people and talking with them
When I end the day with a sense of accomplishment or when I am recognized for going above and beyond by my leadership team.
The people. The teamwork and community.
Lots of customer complaints, mainly about losing online banking access or charging fees that are supposed to be waived or taking away promised interest rates in savings accounts. Overpromising and under delivering.

New leaders are all about cutting pay, bonuses, yearly pay increases and work more for less
They have stopped caring about customers and their complaints. They rather us sit on meetings and make outbound calls than help the customers who are in front of us and need assistance.
Process for companies to be onboarded in procurement is lengthy and arduous. Needs significant streamlining which would necessitate a new database and cohesive internal efforts. Right now U.S. Bank has businesses fighting for control over their contracts - bank needs everyone to cooperate more.
There’s no opportunity to move around. They receive complaints about this and they do not make it a prio
